Are you up for the challenge? You’ve seen the films, you’ve seen the TV series. Now it’s time to put yourself to the test and see if you have what it takes to break out of a real prison in the World’s Largest Escape Game! It’s an opportunity to test your wits and skills.
Our Prison Break event takes place in the expansive four acre grounds of Shrewsbury Prison. It is packed full of challenges, puzzles, hidden clues, helpful prisoners and hindering Officers. How will you overcome these challenges to achieve freedom and escape?
Two and a half hours of adrenaline pumping fun – the prison is real, the cells are real, the officers are real, the race is on, the clock is ticking – will you make it out in time?

The Prison Break Event Includes:
- A 2.5 hour fully immersive event
- Real prison officers, real cells in a real prison
- Prison issued jumpsuits and ID cards
- An adrenaline filled race to prove your innocence and escape
- Self-guided tour of Shrewsbury Prison
Itinerary
Participants Will…..
- Have bags taken for the duration of the event (you can keep what fits in your pocket, phones, keys, wallets, photos of your family) if it fits in your pocket its allowed.
- Wear prison jumpsuits (please wear something comfortable you can move in and sensible shoes, especially if you plan to run)
- Placed into a prison cell
- Please arrive 10 minutes before your start time
- Have a brilliant time being IMMERSED into the World’s largest escape game, giving you the only opportunity to test your escape skills in a real prison.
- Shrewsbury Prison restaurant is open 10am - 5pm
- We regret we are unable to provide wheelchair access.
- Car parking is available opposite the prison
